Day 1 – Arrival in Bhutan | The Heights of Thimphu
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be welcomed by your private guide before traveling by luxury SUV through Bhutan’s scenic Himalayan valleys toward The Postcard Hotel, a secluded five-star hideaway set high above Thimphu. Day 2 – Helicopter Picnic Above the Himalayas | Baytsho Lake
The morning begins with a relaxed breakfast overlooking the valley before departing for one of the journey’s signature experiences with Heli Bhutan.Board your private helicopter and fly across ancient monasteries, untouched forests, glacial rivers, and dramatic Himalayan landscapes toward the extraordinary Baytsho Lake. Hidden within Bhutan’s pristine wilderness, a secluded gourmet picnic awaits, thoughtfully prepared by a private VIP chef and paired with fine wine in complete mountain serenity. Returning to Thimphu by air later in the afternoon, the evening is dedicated to relaxation with a private couples massage and wellness experience before dinner.
Day 3 – Art, Culture & Bhutanese Wine
The morning is reserved for quiet relaxation. Enjoy the hotel’s wellness facilities, heated pool, sauna, or explore the surrounding pine-covered hills at your own pace before lunch. In the afternoon, visit High Quality Thangka Painting Gallery, where skilled Bhutanese artisans will introduce you to the sacred art of thangka painting. A personalized design will be pre-outlined for you by a master painter, allowing you to create and take home your own meaningful piece of Bhutanese art. As evening falls, enjoy an exclusive wine tasting and dining experience with Bhutan Wine Company at The Wine Stop in Thimphu, where Bhutanese wines are paired with a refined multi-course culinary menu.
Day 4 – Journey Into Punakha Valley
Following breakfast, depart by private luxury SUV across mountain passes and forested landscapes into the lush Punakha Valley. Upon arrival at COMO Uma Punakha, check into your exclusive One Bedroom Villa overlooking the valley and surrounding wilderness. The afternoon remains free to enjoy the peaceful setting, explore the property, or simply embrace the slower rhythm of Punakha.In the evening, a private Bhutanese cooking experience invites you to discover the flavors and traditions of local Himalayan cuisine together.
Day 5 – Sacred Punakha & Romantic Portraits
Breakfast is served overlooking the valley before setting out to explore the majestic Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most iconic monasteries and fortresses, beautifully positioned between two rivers. Wearing traditional Bhutanese attire gifted by Ritual Journeys, a private romantic photoshoot will be arranged among ancient courtyards, prayer flags, and riverside scenery, creating timeless memories of your journey together. The remainder of the day is left open for wellness, relaxation, or quiet exploration throughout the valley.
Day 6 – Return to Paro | Mountain Calm
After breakfast, depart Punakha by private SUV toward Paro. Upon arrival, check into COMO Uma Paro, a refined luxury retreat nestled among forests above the Paro Valley. The remainder of the day is intentionally left open for exploring Paro’s cafés, boutiques, and traditional streets, or simply unwinding within the peaceful atmosphere and wellness spaces of the lodge.
Day 7 – Tiger’s Nest & Himalayan Renewal
Following breakfast, set out with your private guide for the iconic ascent to Paro Taktsang, Bhutan’s legendary Tiger’s Nest Monastery suspended dramatically above the valley cliffs. Lunch may be enjoyed overlooking the monastery trails or within the charming town of Paro at your preferred setting. Day 8 – Departure
Enjoy a final breakfast in the Himalayas before your private transfer to Paro International Airport for departure.
