Day 1 – Arrival in Bhutan | Thimphu Above the Pines

Day 2 – Baytsho Lake by Helicopter

Following a relaxed breakfast, depart for a private helicopter experience with Heli Bhutan. Fly above deep valleys, alpine forests, and remote mountain ridges before arriving at the serene Baytsho Lake, hidden within Bhutan’s untouched wilderness. A private gourmet picnic with wine awaits beside the lake, creating a rare moment of stillness in the high Himalayas. Day 3 – Journey Into Punakha

Day 4 – Rivers, Wilderness & Open Skies

Today unfolds through the landscapes of Punakha. After breakfast, experience the valley from the water with a guided rafting, kayaking, or canoeing excursion depending on the season. Drift past traditional villages, suspension bridges, and untouched riverbanks while surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Himalayas. A scenic picnic lunch will be arranged near the river before the afternoon is left entirely at leisure. Day 5 – Sacred Bhutan

Begin the morning with breakfast before setting out to discover Bhutan’s spiritual heritage. Visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, one of the kingdom’s most important architectural and religious landmarks, beautifully positioned between two rivers. Later, continue to a nearby monastery for a traditional blessing ceremony led by local monks, offering a meaningful glimpse into Bhutanese spirituality and sacred traditions. The evening remains free for private exploration or quiet rest.

Day 6 – Return to Paro

After breakfast, journey back toward Paro through forested mountain roads and panoramic Himalayan scenery. Upon arrival, check into COMO Uma Paro, a refined mountain retreat overlooking the emerald Paro Valley. The afternoon is intentionally unstructured. Wander through Paro town, enjoy a gentle cycling experience through the valley, or simply retreat into the stillness of the lodge and its wellness spaces.

Day 7 – Tiger’s Nest Monastery

Your final full day in Bhutan is dedicated to the legendary Paro Taktsang, known as Tiger’s Nest Monastery. The trail ascends gradually through pine forests and mountain viewpoints before revealing the monastery dramatically suspended against the cliffs above the valley. Following the hike, return to the lodge for a restful afternoon before concluding your journey with a traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath, couples massage, and a final farewell dinner.

Day 8 – Departure
